Main Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain the company’s on-premise and cloud-based systems, ensuring their smooth operation, high availability, and security.
- Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patches across various platforms and environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Develop and implement system security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable system architectures.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to optimize database performance and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Administer and maintain databases, including data modeling, schema design, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to system administration, cloud computing, and database administration.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator and DBA Specialist
- Strong knowledge of system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in managing systems in both on-premise and cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in database administration, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, or Ansible, are a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate AWS, are a plus.
